A group of Oxford University students have become internet stars after producing an acapella cover of a Shakira hit which was tweeted by the singer herself. The debut music video for Hips Don’t Lie, produced by the choir, Out of The Blue, has attracted 2.000.000 views since it was posted on YouTube.

The three-and-a-half minute film features all 15 male students, wearing suits in the grounds of the historic university, recreating the track, which topped the British charts when it was released in 2006. The cover went viral after Shakira tweeted a link to the video with a message to the choir and her 26 million followers. Their rendition of the track, which has been released to raise money for charity, has already racked up nearly 900,000 views on YouTube.
